A 5 minute walk takes you to the lake and a further 15 minutes walk along the lakeside to cafes, shops, picture theatre etc.

In winter there are both downhill and crosscountry ski/snowboard fields close by.

In summer watersports, golf course, rock climbing, mountain biking and great walks/treks to be found.
A walk up Mt Iron is a must 1-2 hours round trip for a fantastic view.
